Sometime in 2006 & 2007 Karen O recorded a series of songs between the time the Yeah Yeah Yeah's released Show Your Bones & It's Blitz! The album is coming out next week and it features lo-fi home recordings of songs about crushes. “When I was 27, I crushed a lot,” Karen says of her new solo album. “I wasn’t sure I’d ever fall in love again. These songs were written and recorded in private around this time. They are the soundtrack to what was an ever-continuing love crusade.” Give it a listen below and pre-order the album here.
