Anyone know where the cover for the August '10 playlist came from?

Hey guys, I'm Brammo from Western Australia, I'm new to BIRP :-)

Just listening to August '10 playlist now, seems to be a lot of dream-pop or "shoegaze" influenced music, something I've been getting more into over the past year or so. Could be the next big trend?

Brammmmo, other side of the coast there. It's like we aren't even in the same country.
Maybe you'll be right one day. Really though?

That this "shoegaze" or whatever you like to call it will be the 'next big trend'.

Yeah I don't really like that label either but the dreamy melodies and the droning/layered guitars that define that kinda music are present in lots of these up-and-coming artists. Not only that but also the more psychedelic bands which I guess are kinda similar with that dreamy kinda sound. You dig?

Flavour of the Month in today's musical/fashion climate though hey. Wasn't neo-grunge the cool thing for a little while?

Not too big on the labels either. I just listen to stuff you know and it just goes with my mood. So really I decifer the genre on my own mood. I dig indeed. I love it on here jsut listening to anything. Pretty open to anything really. I mean I have pretty bi-polar taste in music.

haha okay so want does neo-grunge even consist of? Throw some bands at me
