MGMT is still one of my favorite bands...and I'll never hate them for getting big, but what I dislike is that when oracular came out i would show Kids to some of my friends and their response would be, "Dude, wtf are you listening to?" now i can understand that I am only a freshman in highschool and hardly any highschoolers around here listen to any indie at all, but the fact that nowadays I hear people saying "Whoa check out this MGMT band their music so sweeet I'm like the first person to hear this!"...that is what I absolutely hate. Another reason I still love MGMT is because oracular was huge, people will be listening to it for a long time and people loved the psychedelic style, but they still made an album completely different which most bands never do.
