Kelsey Brown

Okay so this isn't exactly "New Music" but I still feel like this girl deserves a lot of recognition. I've included her on several of my 09 playlists, but just incase you guys haven't given it a listen then nows a great time. Also I haven't really been listening to anything new since releasing the March playlist. I guess I've been busy, but things should be back to normal now.

Kelsey Elise Brown is a Singer Songwriter from Sulphur Springs, Texas. She was born in Little Rock, AR in 1992. She sang with her grandfather’s bluegrass band at a young age and moved to Texas in 1997. She has been classically trained in voice, but began writing music and taught herself piano in 2007 and ukulele in 2009. Kelsey is attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. She is influenced by Regina Spektor, Joanna Newsom, Fiona Apple, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Beirut, Laura Veirs, Tegan and Sara, Camille, and others.
