Early reports from the start of Yeasayer's 2010 world tour have been pouring in with praise being heaped on first-half openers, Rhode Island's dance-pop production duo Javelin, with many even saying that the dudes from Providence have even been stealing the show from the Brooklyn headliners. While that may be subjective speculation, Javelin continue on with adding yet another solid release to their resume with their upcoming LP "No Mas".

The album features more of what we've heard from the guys in the past. Glitchy soul samples, sparse vocals, and the occasional appearance of chip tune all wrapped in neat little 2-3 minute increments. So if you're still paitently waiting for the second Avalanches album to come out (which we're still being told is this year), Javelin's sophomore LP fits nicely in the sample-heavy niche that will satisfy most of those fans.

Check out a couple tracks from No Mas and make sure you get to your Yeasayer shows early enough to catch these guys in action. They'll also be doing some shows on their own after Sleigh Bells takes over for them as the opener on Yeasayer's North American dates.
