I can’t seem to remember how to swim in the depths of this massive remix from San Francisco based, D33J. Mr. Djavan Santos has plucked Ros from his wistful bone cold Icelandic home and set him afloat in the great Pacific. Fit with a prominent bass line run through a grainy nostalgic filter, D33J has taken a thing of beauty and made it fit to mingle on the West Coast.
“Ekki Mukk” is the latest from these Icelandic post-rockers released as a single recently which dangles before us the promise of a new album, Valtari, set to release on May 28th.
I’m utterly awestruck by this other-wordly remix and am turning an eager ear toward this WEDIDITCOLLECTIVE member.
