Hella - "Headless"
Written by ryan donar

Summer is over and my dreams are being fogged up by two things, pumpkins and the return of Hella as a two-man band releasing their like, 5th album or some shit. Doesn't really matter what album they are on, the only thing that matters is that Hella isn't a six peice half ass group lead by some really lame vocalist dubbing over their earlier masterpieces. NO, this is Hella back in the original form (Zach Hill and Spencer Seim) ready to melt your faces and have you scratch your head after every song. How does Zach play three drumsets at once? Oh, he's not. Oh, he's not using a double pedal on the bass drum? ABSURD! Why does it sound like Spencer is some fifteen tentacled sea monster that made his way to land only for the sole purpose to shred?! Well, listen to their new album Tripper released on Sargent House and you'll hear what I am talking about.
Recommended for: Any musician, thrash lovers, metal heads, punx, fighters, teen angsters, mathematicians, pet groomers, billy joel and anyone who wants to hear something you've never heard before.
Not Recommended for: Toe dippers or Mumford and Sons fans.
