Ricky Eat Acid

There's an undefinable je ne sais quoi to the music coming from Sam Ray aka Ricky Eat Acid that keeps me coming back for more.  There is a simplicity to the minimal pop gems that still has the ability to emanate an unmistakable introspection. 

Last month we dropped two tracks --- one new single and one track off his previously blogged about Haunt U Forever --- on the June list and Sam just sent us over his newest creation Disappeared.  Keeping in line with his past material while still branching out to new avenues, Disappeared also calls upon the always amazing Steffaloo for some background vocal support.  Her smokey and natural voice lends the perfect counterpart for the minimal electronics that will probably be soundtracking my dreams for the forseeable future.
