Perhaps it’s awareness that school is back in session or the omnipresence of flannel shirt donning humans I noticed as I was driving this morning but I’m really feeling Fall. In slight opposition to my complete overdose on the beachy, shoegaze psychedelic sounds of summer, I was pleased to catch wind of The Actors this morning.

The Actors are an electro-indie band from San Francisco who just released their third EP, High and Low. All of the songs are played without programming and evoke an 80’s, Brat Pack, St. Elmo’s Fire vibe. I dig. Check these two tracks and the rest on bandcamp.
