Owen Pallett - The Phone Call

Bio: Owen Pallett (born Michael James Owen Pallett-Plowright, on September 7, 1979) is a violinist and singer from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and winner of the inaugural Polaris Music Prize. On December 18th, 2009, Pallett announced that he would be retiring his old artist name, Final Fantasy, and would be henceforth releasing his material under his own name. Previous albums released under the Final Fantasy name are planned to be re-packaged and re-released under the new name of Owen Pallett.

Old Man Luedecke - The Early Days

Bio: Old Man Luedecke (Chris Luedecke) is a singer and banjo player living near Halifax, Nova Scotia. Old Man Luedecke left the big old city of Toronto, met a girl in the Yukon, fell in love, bought a banjo and fell in love again. After a couple of years of love and banjo and the makings of a brilliant performing career in sunny Halifax, he returned to the Yukon with his sweethearts. There he woodshedded. He wrote a ton of songs over the next year and a half.

Thundercat - Them Changes

Bio: Thundercat is a pseudonym of Stephen Bruner (b. Los Angeles, CA, USA), a virtuoso bassist, composer, producer and singer. He débuted with No Curfew's "18" (2001) and his latest album is "Apocalypse" (Jun 2013, Brainfeeder). A member of legendary thrash punks Suicidal Tendencies (since 16 years of age), a protégé of Steven Ellison (aka Flying Lotus) - Bruner has collaborated with many, including jams with Snoop Dogg and Stanley Clarke. “I do believe that hip-hop can be the new jazz, and I’m helping create that”, Bruner said in an interview to Bass Player, in 2008.
